Chapter 1. General Provisions

The English translation of the TOU is for reference purposes only. In case of any discrepancies between the Korean TOU and its English translation, the Korean version shall prevail.
Article 1. (Purpose)
These Terms of Use (“TOU”) describe the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and terms between a “User” (defined below) and KT Corporation (“KT” or “Company”) in regards to the use of the Bizmeka EZ service (“Service”) provided by KT.
Article 2. (Effect, Revision, and Interpretation of the TOU)
  • ① This TOU is posted on the Service website or notified to the “User” by other means and takes effect upon subscription to the Service by a User after consenting to the TOU.
  • ② KT shall post this TOU together with its registered name, a principal place of business, name of its legal representative, and business registration number on the front page of the Service.
  • ③ KT may amend the TOU to the extent permitted under the relevant laws and regulations of Republic of Korea. Amendments to the TOU will be notified to Users by posting on the Service website at least seven (7) days prior to taking effect. Amendments to the TOU that prejudice Users will be notified at least thirty (30) days prior to taking effect and through other available means including e-mails.
  • ④ A User is entitled to object to amendments of TOU and may cease to use the Service and terminate the Service contract based on disagreement with the amended TOU. Failure by the User to object to the amendments or to terminate the Service contract prior to the effective date will be regarded as having provided consent to the amendments.
  • ⑤ KT reserves a right to have special terms of use or policy (Special Terms) for a particular service and a purchase. In the event of the conflict between the terms of this TOU and the terms of the Special Terms, the Special Terms shall prevail.
Article 3.(Definitions)
  • ① The terms used herein shall have the following meanings.
    • 1. Service refers to application and contents service for use by Users to be provided by KT. The Service consists of two types: a free service and a paid service
    • 2. User : It refers to a person who enters into an agreement for use of the Service with KT by giving a consent to the TOU under the Service website. “User” is categorized as the following.
       
      Administrator Is a person who represents other Users. The Administrator has authority to approve the service use of each “User” and may define the scope of the Service of such User
      Member User who is approved by the “Administrator” as a member of a “Group” and uses the service within the Service scope which the administrator has authorized
    • 3. Data : refers to information (postings, basic data, accounting data, electronic documents, photo, message, video, sound, music, etc.) posted by “Users” and stored in the physical server of KT, which includes combined, alternated, or derived information from such data
  • ② Except for the definitions in this Article 3. ①, other terms shall have meanings indicated by the context.

Chapter 2. Service Contact and User Management

Article 4.(Formation, Application and Acceptance of Service Contract)
  • ① The Service Contract becomes effective upon approval by KT after the User that wishes to subscribe to the Service(“Applicant”) provides its consent to this TOU along with submission of the prescribed application form to KT or completion of the on-line form provided by KT.
  • ② KT may withhold its approval of the Service application or may terminate the Service contract for any of the following:
    • 1. Technical limitations or limits set by available technical resources in providing the Service;
    • 2. Application for the Service by an Applicant using the name of another person or a stolen identity;
    • 3. Falsification of or failure to provide required information by an Applicant;
    • 4. Application for the Service by a minor who is under 14 (under 20 if applicable service is a paid service) without consent of his/her legal guardian (including parents);
    • 5. Application for the Services for purposes of disturbing the stability of a society or offending public morality;
    • 6. Illegal Service use in violation of relevant laws and regulations or infringement or attempt to infringe 3rd party rights by an Applicant;
    • 7. Use of dishonest methods to exploit system vulnerability or bugs, use of malicious programs by an Applicant; or
    • 8. In case that an Applicant has previously lost its membership unless otherwise approved by KT.
    • 9. In case that there is a failure to meet any of KT’s application requirements
Article 5.(User Information Update)
  • ① Users may inspect and modify their personal information through the privacy information management page on the Service website at any time. However, certain types of information required for service administration such as name or ID of a User are not modifiable.
  • ② Changes in User information provided at the time of application should be updated online or notified to KT via e-mail or other methods as determined by KT. KT shall not be responsible for any disadvantage caused by failure to inform such changes to KT.  

Chapter 3. General Terms of Service Use

Article 6. (Commencement of Service)
  • ① KT will provide the Service to the User upon approval of the application with the exception of certain Service that may be provided at date otherwise specified.
  • ② Failure by KT to provide requested Service due to operational or technical difficulties will be notified through the website or notices sent to each corresponding User.
  • ③ KT may request an additional or separate subscription procedures from Users for certain service. The terms and conditions, regulation or rules of such service will take precedence over this TOU. 
Article 7. (Service Use)
  • ① Services are provided on 24/7 basis, in principal unless there are operational or technical difficulties by KT.
  • ② For a Paid Service, KT will provide such Paid Service upon application Service request or upon commencement of a particular Service.
Article 8.(Service Revision and Suspension)
  • ① KT may charge the Service in whole or in part for purposes of improving the quality of the Service. In such cases, KT will notify an amendment to Users pursuant to Article 16.
  • ② KT may restrict or suspend the Service in whole or in part for any of the following:
    • 1. If necessary to maintain, repair, inspect, replace and/or repair information and communications facilities including computers ; system failure or communications interruption and so forth;
    • 2. If there is maintenance work necessary for Service;
    • 3. If there is a maintenance work necessary for service upgrade and site maintenance; 
    • 4. If there is a trouble in Service owing to power failure, hardware trouble, or traffic overflow, etc.
    • 5. In case it is difficult to acquire the original data for service provision due to expiration  or termination of the contract with original copyright holder of various contents include video, music or with related original right holder.
    • 6. If a user tries to interfere/interrupt with operation of the Company;
    • 7. If KT cannot maintain Service owing to various causes such as termination of contract with a service provider
    • 8. Any act, cause or event beyond KT’s reasonable control, including an act of God or a national emergency.
  • ③ In case of Service suspension pursuant to Article 8. ②, KT shall notify the Users according to the notice method decided by KT, provided, however, that KT may not notify the Users in the event that such service suspension occurs due to uncontrollable reasons such as disk malfunctioning or system failure reasons not attributable to KT and prior notice is technically impossible.
  • ④ KT shall not be liable for any failure, suspension or interruption of the Service pursuant to Article 8. ② except for gross negligence or willful misconduct by KT.
  • ⑤ KT may cease to offer the Service in any of the following cases by giving a prior notice (by mail, SMS or telephone) to Users. Such notice will include the cause of the Service cessation and the date of the Service termination. In case of Article 8.5.1, KT will provide at least thirty (30) days prior notice to each Users. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if certain Users are unreachable due to contact information change or other reasons, KT may provide a service termination notice on the website at http://www.bizmeka.com.
    • 1. When KT is unable to provide stable Service due to substantial change in business circumstances or technical development
    • 2. When KT is revoked , terminated, or suspended of, whether temporarily or permanently, any of its permissions, licenses, approvals or other legal authorizations required by applicable law to conduct its business or to perform its obligations under this TOU;
    • 3. When any event or cause beyond KT’s reasonable control occurs including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, vandalism, or extreme weather; any law, order, regulation, direction, action or request of national government or any instrumentality thereof having jurisdiction over KT;
Article 9.( Information Provisioning, Advertisement, and Hyperlinks)
  • ① If deemed necessary for the operation of the Service, KT may post advertisements on its website or service pages, or e-mail. Users who receive such advertisements through email may decline to receive such advertisements.
  • ② When a User uses any advertisements posted on the Service or participates in communications or transactions with an advertiser concerning its promotional materials, it is an issue exclusively between the User and the advertiser. Any disputes pursuant to such shall be settled directly between the User and the advertiser. KT shall not responsible for any claims or damages arising from those transactions or communications between them.
  • ③ KT does not provide guarantees for transaction of goods or services agreed between Users and websites hyperlinked on its website.
  • ④ A User may decline to receive unsolicited e-mails except those concerning transaction-related information as required under the relevant laws and regulations in response to inquiries by the User. However, e-mail messages already permitted prior to declining receipt may not be cancelled due to technical limitations.
  • ⑤ Users shall not interfere with banner advertisements through activities including, but not limited to, arbitrary deletion, condemnation of banners banner advertisements.
Article 10.(Prohibition of Service Resale)
“Users” shall not copy, duplicate, resell or use in part or all of the Service contents, subscription to the Service, or Service itself for the commercial purposes.

Chapter 4. Service Provision

Article 11.(Providing and Charging the Service)
  • ① The Service are as follows:
     
    Free Service Mail, e-Approval, Company SNS, Bulletin Board, Customer, Address Book, Schedule, Organizational Chart, Withholding Tax, VAT, Attendance Management, Day-Worker Management, HR Basic, Auto-Proof, Fixed Asset etc.(KT provides basic data storage capacity (“Permitted Capacity”) for the Free Service use. A User may purchase additional data storage capacity with the price set by KT when the User wishes to use more than the Permitted Capacity.)
    Paid Service The Services excluding the free service to be purchased by the users with extra charge set by KT.
  • ② KT may update, stop, change, or start charging all or part of the Free Service as per its business policy and operation. The “Company” shall not compensate the “users” regarding this action unless it is specified to do so in a related law.
Article 12. (Intellectual Property Rights)
Any copyright and intellectual property rights in the Service shall be owned by KT except for the contents provided by a User in accordance with data and/or affiliation contract.
Article 13.(Provision of Beta Service)
  • ① Before commercial launch of a new Service, KT may provide beta service to Users (“Beta Service”) for a certain period of time. KT will make an announcement for each Beta Service including applicable Users, Beta Service period, other information, if any.
  • ② Beta Service is not a commercial service but a trial process for testing of development status. During the trial process, modification, addition, or deletion of Beta Service data may occur, and this will be unrecoverable. KT may stop applicable Beta Service without prior notice if an unexpected problem arises during the Beta Service Period.
  • ③ Beta Service is free of charge and a temporary service. KT shall not be liable for any damages to the Users caused by the Beta Service.

Chapter 5. Obligations of the Parties

Article 14.(Obligations of KT)
  • ① KT shall not provide personal information of Users to any third party without consent of such User unless otherwise required under relevant laws or regulations.
  • ② To the extent permitted under the Article 14.1, without prior consent of Users, KT may use personal information of Users for statistics purpose and for such purpose, the Company may send cookies to the Users’ computers. In such cases, a User may reject to receive applicable cookies or change its computer settings with a notice of receiving such cookies. A user shall take responsibility for any change in settings for the cookies, which may change the use of Service.
  • ③ KT shall process any opinions or complaints submitted by Users as appropriate. KT may notify the Users on the status of opinions or complaints via its bulletin board or e-mail.
  • ④ KT shall compensate any loss or damage to Users incurred as a result of the Users’ Service Use in the event that such loss or damage are caused by KT’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. Notwithstanding the foregoing, KT's liability for loss or damage for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of action shall be limited to proven direct damages.
  • ⑤ KT shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations including Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, ETC., Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and Telecommunications Business Act.
Article 15.(Obligations of the “User”)
  • ① The common obligations of the “Users” are as follows:
    • 1. “Users” shall not take any actions listed in the attached 【Appendix#1】 when using the Service.
    • 2. “Users” shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations, this TOU, Service related guidelines, other announcements notified by KT. Users shall not conduct any activities interrupting/interfering with the operation of KT. 
    • 3. “Users” shall not conduct any activities to seek profit by using the Service without express prior consent of KT. Especially, when using the Service, Users shall not hack into a computer network, conduct advertisement activities for profits or any commercial activity through obscene web sites, or illegally distribute commercial software in violation of relevant laws and regulations. KT shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or any criminal responsibility incurred as a result of the User’s breach of this provision. The User shall indemnify and hold harmless KT from and against any and all damages and liabilities incurred as a result of any breach of obligation in this provision.
    • 4. "Users" shall backup its various “data” such as e-mails in preparation for any system failure and shall take preventive measures by regularly updating vaccine program or checkup to avoid exposure to hazardous including viruses. Any damages caused by neglecting or breaching this obligation in this provision by Users are not the responsibility of the “Company”. 
    • 5. “Users” shall comply with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and information Protection, etc. when transferring information with characteristics of advertisement.
    • 6. “Users” shall bear all civil and criminal responsibilities resulting from sending illegal Spam.
    • 7. Upon a User’s consent, the User’s personal information with name, email address and mobile phone number may be disclosed to the User’s Group members.
  • ② Users with administrator account (“Administrator”) shall undertake the following obligations.
    • 1. When Administrator terminates the Service or withdraws from the Administrator’s Group, the Administrator shall transfer its “Administrator” account to other User before termination or withdrawal.
    • 2. Administrator represents his Group in using the Service and shall manage the Service use of the Users of the Administrator’s Group in accordance with the rules applicable to his Group. 
  • ③ Users who have members account (“Members”) shall undertake the following obligations.
    • 1. Members shall select a Group when applying for membership and if a Member’s application is not approved by the Administrator of the such Group, the Service use for the Member shall be restricted.
    • 2. Members shall comply with the rules set by the Group and use the Service within the scope of authority given by the “Administrator”.
    • 3. In the event that an Administrator fails to transfer his administrator account even where the “Administrator” no longer is able to fulfill his/her obligations as the Administrator, a Member shall notify KT immediately to receive any proper measures from KT.
Article 16.(Duties and Responsibilities Regarding ID and Password)
  • ① Users shall be fully responsible for the results caused by negligence in management and wrongful use of the “User” ID and Password and KT shall be liable for any such results to the extent attributable to KT including system malfunctioning.
  • ② “User” shall manage his ID/password with caution and shall not expose his ID/password or disclose his ID/Password to a third party. In the event that User’s ID/password are exposed, stolen or disclosed to a third party, the User may be subject to civil and criminal penalty, or additional charges may incur.
  • ③ In the event that User ID/Password are stolen or a User finds out that a third party has access to the User’s ID/Password (“Alarming Event”), the User shall immediately notify of such facts to the “Company” and shall follow the instructions of KT if they are given.
  • ④ In the event that the User fails to notify of the “Alarming Event” to KT, or fails to comply with the KT’s instructions pursuant to Article 16.3 above, KT shall not be liable for any consequences of such failure by the User.
  • ⑤ KT may restrict the use of IDs that may possibly reveal personal information, violate public morality, offend social morale or be mistaken as KT or KT’s system operator.
Article 17. (Notice to Users)
  • ① KT may use E-mail address, SMS or other communications means specified by Users to notify Users. In the event that KT’s notice is not delivered due to wrongfully designated E-mail address or incorrect phone number submitted by the User, such failed notice shall be deemed to be given.
  • ② Notices to all Members by KT may be provided through bulletin boards in lieu of the methods mentioned in the above Article 17.1.
Article 18. (Personal Information Protection and Consignment of Its Handling)
  • ① The “Company” shall put an effort to protect the personal information of the “Users” including registered information of the “Users” pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations such as the ACT ON PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION, ETC. and related presidential decree and enforcement rules.The relevant laws and regulations and Privacy Policy of the KT shall apply to the protection and use of personal information of the “User”, provided, however, that the privacy policy of KT shall not apply to any website linked to a site other than KT's official website. In addition, KT shall not be liable for any leakage of information due to reasons attributable to the “User”.
  • ② In principle, KT will conduct such operations as handling and management of the collected personal information. However, if deemed necessary, KT may outsource the operation in whole or in part to other companies selected by it. The privacy policy of the KT shall be applied to the outsourcing of handling personal information of “Users”.
Article 19. (Assignment)
Users shall not assign or transfer any of their rights to use the Service or any other legal privilege specified in the Service Contract. Users shall assume all the rights and responsibilities including that of intellectual property rights for materials posted.

Chapter 6. Termination and Restrictions to Service Use

Article 20. Termination
  • ① If a “User” wants to terminate a Service contract, the User shall request the termination via online, or through the specific methods decided by KT. However, the “Users” who have subscription to a specific service(including e-Tax Invoice) shall first terminate any such service in order to apply for termination of the Service.
  • ② KT shall immediately process the termination request of the “Users” in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. However, the Administrator shall transfer his administrator account to other User before the Service termination is processed.
  • ③ In the event that the “Users” terminates a Service contract, the “Users” ID shall be deleted. Once deleted, the ID shall not be restored or reused.
  • ④ KT may provide data backup methods. However, such backup function may have limitations due to technical difficulties or pursuant to the Company’ s policy.
  • ⑤ In the event that a User terminates the Service contract, all data created by the “Users” including User information and Service use record shall be deleted. However, if some the “data” were shared among the members of a Group, such data shall be retained until all the members of the Group terminates the Service contract and the remaining data may be shared among the members of the Group.
  • ⑥ KT shall give a notice to Users, who do not use Service and information for a certain period of time (one or two years selected by a User, hereinafter Time Limit), of the fact that the applicable User’s personal information will be archived or be destroyed, one (1) month before the Time Limit. If the “User” does not access to the Service within a month from the Time Limit, it is assumed that the “User” agrees to the Service termination, and the Service shall be terminated and the User’s personal information shall be archived or destroyed. If a proper notice is difficult to be given to the applicable User due to incorrect contact information, KT may terminate the Service contract with the applicable User without prior notice after the Time Limit pursuant to the provisions hereunder.
  • ⑦ KT reserves a right to terminate the Service contract in the event that the “Users” breaches any of the obligations in this TOU. In this case, Article 20.4 shall apply to data storage and data usage.
Article 21. (Restriction of Use and Loss of Status)
  • ① If a “Users” conducts any of the following activities or fails to comply with the TOU, KT may restrict or suspend the rights of the User. The User shall not request any compensation from KT for the restriction or suspension.
    • 1. In the event that the “User” violates the Framework Act on Telecommunications, Telecommunications Business Act, Regulation of Korea Internet Safety Commission, Information Ethics Charter, Computer Programs Protection Act, relevant laws and regulations, this TOU, or public policy
    • 2. In the event that Korea Communications Commission, Korea Internet and Security Agency, or any competent Authority request suspension of Service to a specific User based on the fact that the User has transmitted illegal spam
    • 3. In the event that the “User” has transmitted massive mail or SMS and caused or would cause system defect.
    • 4. In the event that “Users” has been used in an illegal spam relay or has sent a mail or SMS contaminated by worm.
    • 5. In the event that a certain receiver of the relevant advertisement had requested for discontinuance of such ads but the “Users” continues sending the ads.
  • ② When any of the following activities occur or after KT restricts or suspends the rights of the User and such activities occur more than two times or the applicable User fails to rectify such defect within thirty (30) days, KT may terminate the User’s rights. The affected User shall not be entitled to any compensation from KT.
    • 1. Theft of identity or credit information by a User in violation of the Resident Registration Act
    • 2. Hacking or distribution of malicious programs by a User.
  • ③ KT shall give a notice to a User in accordance with Article 17 (Notice to Users) if KT restricts, suspends or terminate the rights of the Users pursuant to the Article 21.
  • ④ In the event of a dispute with regard to KT’s actions against a User in this Article, the User shall notify KT of such dispute in accordance with the procedures decided by KT. At KT’s discretion, KT may resume the affected Service if such dispute by the User was justifiable.

Chapter 7. Charges

Article 22.(Type, Period and Rate of Charges)
  • ① The type, payment cycle, and rate of the charges are as shown in 【Appendix#2】.
  • ② Service charges are posted on the homepage (www.bizmeka.com) or KT may notify Users of Service charges when using the Service.
Article 23. (Due Dates)
  • ① KT will designate due dates of Service charges in consideration of all societal conditions.
  • ② KT reserves a right to demand a prompt payment to Users or KT may designate a due date and send the invoice of Service charges.
  • ③ KT may demand either advance payment or post payment for each service listed in the【Appendix#2】.
Article 24 (Payment Method)
  • ① The payment methods for the Service charges include periodic payments or itemized payments. The available payment methods by each service are limited to what is stated in the payment page.
  • ② The periodic payment is the method for the “User” to process the payment automatically through a designated payment method selected by the “User” and use the Service within a stated period. If the “User” does not express any intention to stop the Service to KT in accordance with appropriate procedure, the Service contract is automatically renewed and bill is charged continually. 
    • 1. In the event that periodic payment fails due to change of payment information, lost credit card, or other reasons, Service may automatically suspended.
    • 2. The “Company” is not liable for any damages caused by the discontinuance of the Service due to the periodic payment failure reasons attributable to the User.
    • 3. If a “Users” uses payment information of a third party without the consent of the third party, the “Users” shall be subject to civil and criminal liability and punishment pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations.
Article 25. (Refund and Cancelling Payment)
  • ① A “Users” may withdraw the Service request within three (3) days of purchase if there is no record of using the Service after the purchase. In this case, KT shall refund all the charges or cancel the payment on the purchased Service.
  • ② Refund is available only when the name of account holder of the financial institution where refund amount to be deposited is identical to the name of the User registered in KT.
  • ③ Refund shall not be made in case of identity theft, payment information theft or fraudulent payment. In this case, the payer’s personal information shall be only disclosed by competent authority pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations.
  • ④KT shall not be liable for any damages of any kind or nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to the following events: i) when KT is unable to confirm payment information with regards to the terminated User; or ii) when a User provides incorrect payment information to KT.
  • ⑤ When a User who is using the Service with periodic (monthly) payment method terminates the Service Contract, the Services charges shall not be calculated on a pro rata basis but shall be charged for the entire month for any calendar month during which any termination occurs.

Chapter 8.Compensation for Damages

Article 26. (Compensation for Damages)
  • ① The User shall compensate KT for any and all damages incurred as a result of any breach of this TOU.
  • ② KT disclaims all liabilities from any damages arising out of or in connection with the Free Service. For the Paid Service, KT’s liabilities shall be in accordance with the terms of the particular service or the provisions of the specific service.
  • ③ The User shall indemnify and hold harmless KT against all damages, losses, liabilities and expenses incurred as a result of any breach of its obligations in this TOU or relevant laws and regulations.
Article 27. (Limitation of Liability)
  • ① KT shall not be held liable for not being able to provide Service due to national emergencies, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable factors.
  • ② KT shall not be liable for any system failure due to reasons attributable to the User.
  • ③ When a member of a Group is using the Service, it is assumed that the member has a consent from the Group. KT disclaims any responsibilities or liabilities in connection with the Group and/or the use of Service by the member to the Group.
  • ④ KT shall not be liable for conflicts between Administrator and members of the Group or a conflicts among members of the Group.
  • ⑤ KT shall not be liable for any consequential, indirect or special damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits or business even if foreseeable. KT provides the Service solely on an “AS IS” basis with no representation or warranty of any kind, including not limited to, the accuracy, completeness or reasonableness of any information related to the Service.
  • ⑥ KT shall have no duty to monitor/inspect any data created by Users. KT shall not be liable for any liability or claims arising out of or in connection with the data created by Users.
Article 28. (Jurisdiction)
  • ① Any dispute or controversy arising out of or in relating to the use of the Service shall be settled amicably and in good faith by mutual agreement between KT and the User.
  • ② In the event of failure to settle the matter amicably, the Parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of a competent court as specified in the Civil Procedure Act of Korea for the resolution of the dispute.
  • ③ The User and any lawsuits thereof between KT and any User shall be governed by and construed in all respects, by and under the laws of Korea.
Supplementary Provision
1. (Enforcement Date) This TOU shall take effect as of November 30, 2015.
Supplementary Provision
1. (Enforcement Date) This TOU shall take effect as of January 27, 2016.
Supplementary Provision
1. (Enforcement Date) This provision shall take effect as of February15, 2016.
【Appendix#1】
  • 1. Acts of providing false information in application/change of Service request for or stealing and illegally using ID and password of other “Users”.
  • 2. Acts of copying, distributing, or commercializing the data acquired by Service without the prior consent of KT.
  • 3. Acts of defaming other person’s reputation or giving disadvantages
  • 4. <Acts of uploading pornographic contents or linking obscene websites./li>
  • 5. Acts of infringing the copyright of KT or third party, or violating other rights.
  • 6. Acts of distributing information, sentence, shape or sounds that contain materials that harm public policy or traditional custom to others
  • 7. Acts of registering or circulating virus contaminated data which cause malfunctioning of the equipment related to the Service or destruction of data/confusion, or Acts of intentionally disrupting the Service operations, transmitting information that would disturb the stable operation of the Service, or sending advertising information against the explicit ad-block request of the recipient.
  • 8. Acts of pretending to be someone else or specifying false relationship with others.
  • 9. Acts of collecting, storing, or revealing personal information of other Users
  • 10. Acts of distributing false information to intentionally cause profit or losses to the property of others/oneself
  • 11. Acts of gambling or speculation
  • 12. Acts of prostitution brokerage or distributing information with contents of such prostitution brokerage conduct.
  • 13. Acts of repeatedly delivering the word, sound, writings, drawings or video that raise shame, disgust or fear to others as to interfere daily lives of the others including Acts of changing of the posted information
  • 14. Acts of transmitting or posting the information (including computer program) of which transmission or upload are prohibited by related laws and regulations.
  • 15. Acts of uploading a post or sending mails by pretending to be or assuming false name of staff member or administrator of KT or by stealing others’ names
  • 16. Acts of posting or e-mailing the data that include software virus and other computer code, file, and programs that is created for the purpose of disrupting and destroying the normal operation of computer software, hardware, electronic communication devices.
  • 17. Acts of harassing other “users” through such actions as stalking
  • 18. Acts of failure to pay any amount due that “User” is obligated to pay for goods and service purchased on the site
  • 19. Acts of disrupting the electronic transaction order such as disturbing the Service use of others or stealing the information
  • 20. Other illegal or unjust act.

  • 1. E-Tax Invoice Service
    • ○ E-Tax Invoice Service is a Service that provides electronic tax invoice issued through a computer by verification of authentication certificate when transactions are made pursuant to the value-added tax law and regulation and this replaces the previous paper tax invoice issuance between a supplier and a customer, which the delivery of such paper tax invoice was made in person or by mail.

          - The charge is based on the number of cases on E-Tax invoice that the “User” issued.
          - The liability of charges falls upon the legal entity who verified the authenticity through authentication certificate.
          - User shall pay the charges according to monthly post-paid payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing with KT.
          - There will be no charges for the month if there is no usage.
    • ○ Compensation for damages
      ”In the event of the E-Tax Invoice Service failure for more than 24 hours from the time when the User notifies KT or from the time when KT is aware of such failure due to reasons attributable to KT, KT will compensate damages to the affected User who requests for compensation to KT. The maximum compensation amount will not exceed the average daily Service charges for the recent 3 months * the number of days of service failure* 3.
  • 2. Scrapping Service
    • ○ Scraping Service refers to a Service of extracting the necessary information such as revenue/purchase e-tax invoice record, customer information, or financial account transaction record by automatic access to the website of the relevant institutions (the “Scrapping Service”).
    • ○ User’s information (ID, password, authentication certificate) at Home Tax, Credit Association, Card Company and/or Banks (hereinafter “Service Institutions”) may be required for the Scrapping Service and such information will be encrypted and saved for authentication of identity.
    • ○ Scrapping Service Use may be restricted due to internet service error, webpage update, restriction on service hours of the Service Institutions.
    • ○ The information provided by the Scrapping Service are provided by the scrapping method. “Users” shall use them as a reference for customer management and accounting management, and KT disclaims the accuracy of the provided information by the Scrapping Service and shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in relation to the provided information by the Scrapping Service.
    • ○ KT shall not be liable for any information leakage of the User’s information saved and encrypted at the User’s computer in relation to the Service Institution. The “Users” shall manage the security of their computers with diligent care.
    • ○ Scrapping Service is free of charge but it is subject to change in accordance with KT’s policy.
  • 3. Storage Capacity Addition Service
    • ○ Storage Capacity Addition Service is a Service for providing more storage capacity for mail, e-approval, schedule, company SNS, address, bulletin board, corporate structure, accounting, or HR service.
